Carey Green, along the magical Cape Schank coastline, was especially beautiful today with crystal clear aqua pools and water temperatures that didn't stop your heart inviting us all to take the plunge...
We are so lucky to have access to such pristine beauty and the time to enjoy it.
I tried to find this place yesterday but didn't succeed. Would you be able to tell me exactly how to get here? Many thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis place is now called Cairns Bay (see GoogleMaps). There are a number of rock pools (turn left on reaching the beach) and one in particular that is ideal. The rockpools are underwater except at low tide. Even then be very careful and never turn your back on the sea as freak waves occur. With a low tide and good sense, this is a fine place to enjoy.
DeleteHead out of flinders towards Rosebud. The pull off for Carey green is not far past the Blowhole car park on the left...perhaps 6 kms from Flinders.
