The latest iPhone hits the stores




The keen have queued for 36 hours to be the first to grab the new iPhone.. 5 hours after opening their doors there is still a long line of people awaiting their turn to be escorted into the store to be served..Who'd have believed it in Adelaide!!!

Behind the scenes at the Airport

Red Cross today were invited to share in a disaster preparedness exercise at the Adelaide Airport.
It was a great opportunity to see behind the scenes and work out what gaps need to be filled when a REAL emergency occurs.

I thought a bomb had gone off in one of our favourite restaurants as I drove past on the way to work this morning, but it was a run away out-of-control truck that took off the front of the Singapore House restaurant. Business as usual tonight though!

The country headed out to vote today and it was mixed messages with a swing towards liberal but away from Abbot, Greens up in some states and down in others and Labour generally on the nose everywhere. Winners (due to quirky Senate preference laws) were the independents.
