What?

Always keen for a chat Marylyn comes up to say hello.

Waterfalling

For a short time only we are blessed with a cascading waterfall and lots of roos, emus and Koalas to drive the  tethered dogs crazy.

Ffffreezing.

Ok it's f****** freezing here with hail and occasional snow flurries cascading down. This is looking through the sky light of my car.

Fears.

Facing our fears, the dogs and I brace ourselves, as the freight train screeches and grinds its way past us and I think about those brave people I know who have lain under the tracks or hidden in the tunnels as it rumbled past.

Cobwebs

Scouring the warehouse sheds at stockwell Maxie returned covered in cobwebs and crunching something (hopefully) long dead. Yuk!

Stockwell smile

Rugged up against the freezing shed temperatures I glimpse a rare smile amidst the chaos.

On the road at dawn

Driving to Stockwell at dawn had it's advantages with magnificent colours heralding a new day.

Yum!

Bacon and egg pie without the pastry simply cooked in muffin trays.

The Poetry Man

The poetry man, is in residence at Nedz for a could of months blessing us with his creative poetic talent.
For a busking fee he will write you a poem too.
Here is one he wrote for Rosanna.

 I'm travelling
I'm leaving my tangled life behind
 I'm moving on
With new worlds on my mind
I'm taking chances with the changing faces of this life
 Bravely
 Boldly
Shaking the strings of puppet time.

I'm travelling
 I'm moving forward
   I'm taking up
    The strange
     And unknown space
       That is the future.

Endangered

The big surf didn't phase the fabulous (if tiny) endangered hooded plovers that grace our beach at Watson's gap.

Big surf

With an offshore wind the surf was pushed up into spectacular rollers at Middleton.

Cheesy affair.

The spoils of our day of cheese making...delicious feta, cream cheese and quark. Hopefully soon we'll be brave enough to make camembert.

Bad moon rising

Not really...it was a great moon setting in actuality.
