Sky on fire

Looks like a boiling sea but upside down.

Classy camelias

Reptiles

Although carefully camouflaged, this blue tongue thinks that it is warm enough  to resurface and is the first of the reptiles we have seen for the season.

The changing seasons

At Chiton rocks the winter creek normally runs straight into the sea for a few months each year but this year it has chosen a meandering path to reach its destination.

Luminoscity

These Cannas (?) are brilliant splashes of colour in the gardens today.

Dripping Blooms

The wisteria is out and the hay fever sufferers are taking cover.

Not speaking

The Ibis at the gardens seem unimpressed with each other...perhaps a wee tiff.

Tonight's sunset

Record finish

With fascias matching the house the Carport now  looks like it has been there forever even though Andrew whipped it up in record time.
The cars are very happy...so are we.

Thoughts

"Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

Camouflaged.

Carefully camouflaged amongst tiny fallen nuts, a wee insect has carved out its home.

The perfect curl

Ringlets and not wrinkles. I'm so envious.

Skill and artistry.

It was fascinating to watch "spell bound" the glass artists work in their studio at the Jam factory, creating masterpieces before our eyes.

A Lucky landing

This tree fell rather fortuitously at Morialta after the recent wild storms, straddling the surviving gum, and not felling it in its path.

Ted Talk...Hearing colour

Neil Harbisson born completely colour blind is now able to see a symphony of colours...audibly.
Amazing!

Bill Bailey's in town

Bill Bailey gave us a few hearty laughs on Thursday at Thebarton theatre, once again amazing the audience with his musical prowess,  particularly on the squeezy bike horn.

prayer flags

The last rays of the sun gleam through the prayer flags and remind us of the beautiful day we have just enjoyed.

Natures colours

I couldn't walk past this fabulous root with it's colourful patterns colours and textures, without taking a snap.

Project time

Unable to refuse the offer of free lumber and tin,
Andrew and various family members have been dismantling this shed in preparation to re-build it in various forms at home.

Spring Sun

The sun has retuned to dip into the sea, with fabulous skies for us to see as it re-traces it's arc back into the Southern Hemisphere
